For the next month, I’m taking part in a collaboration with some gorgeous bloggers which was organised by Naomi from the blog Diamonds n Pearls and you can check out her post on this collaboration to read a little more about it and who is involved. In short, we’re all going to be blogging about work wear and each week there will be a different theme, this week’s is ‘How to ‘Werk’ the Blazer’.
At first, I panicked about the theme as the blazers that I have are either too big for me and awaiting an ebay sale or they’re in a summer shade which doesn’t really fit with this fabulous frost we’re having in the UK at the moment…! Quite ironically, last week I had an important meeting to go to at the last minute that required me to wear a suit and so I dusted off this one from my wardrobe and took some snaps as I was going out of the door. Perhaps not the greatest fitting of items given that it was bought mid-weight loss but certainly a good suit. It’s from Evans and I would certainly recommend it if you’re looking for a good quality suit on a budget. I’ve had a few from there over the years and they wash well at home and last a long time. I’ll be buying a new suit in my actual size soon as I’ll be needing one in a couple of months time and I would definitely consider going back to Evans to get one.

I hope you all like my work wear outfit, next weeks will all be about pencil skirts and pussy bows so stay tuned for that! Mine will go up on Friday but in the meantime, do check out the girls in Naomi’s post above as they’ll be posting their work wear outfits on a daily basis too.
Do you wear a suit for work- what’s it like?
