Before I start, I promise that this is going to be my last birthday related post!
Today I wanted to show you the outfit that I wore out to dinner and for drinks with my friends for my birthday. We went to a little Italian restaurant along the sea front for dinner and then onto a pub/bar that plays music until quite late. I didn’t want anything wild or OTT, just a good time with friends… and a good time we definitely had.
My friends decorated the area where our table was in the restaurant and brought me some gorgeous gifts. Some of which can be seen here.
The outfit that I wore centred around this gorgeous jumpsuit. While I’ve had playsuit, jumpsuit and onesie PJs in the past, I have never worn anything like it out of the house because I couldn’t find a piece that actually looked like clothing rather than PJs! That was until I spotted this one in the sale online and ordered it on a whim.
I love the tropical floral print on the top as it is bright and colourful, perfect for a birthday girl. The top has a deep v neckline that I find very flattering although I did have to pin it as it was very generous in size. The waist is elasticated to pull you in and then the legs of the jumpsuit are peg leg shaped which really help to give your legs some shape and to make the jumpsuit more fitted. I love the soft, stretchy material as it makes this jumpsuit so comfortable to wear.
I paired it with a pink clutch bag and pink make up to bring out the pink in the jumpsuit and I wore black wedges to draw attention upwards towards the top of the jumpsuit. For a little sparkle, I added some silver jewellery.
