WhatLauraWore: Spring Pastels

For lazy Sundays with Mr WLL, I like to wear clothes that are comfortable but cute and feminine.  We usually relax on a Sunday and go out for a drive into the country, enjoy Sunday lunch and then come back home to watch films or the latest series we’re obsessed with on Netflix (at the moment, its 24!).  I love to wear pastels in the spring so this outfit makes me really happy as it is made up of yellow and pink pastels.

My skirt is the Full Midi Skirt from ASOS.  It can be worn high on the waist which looks great with a cami tucked in or lower down on the hips like I have worn it here.  Aside from being super girlie, this skirt is very soft and comfortable; I actually wore it to travel back from Barbados in and it served me very well on the plane.  I’ve paired it with the California slogan jumper in a pastel yellow from Primark that everyone went crazy for when it first came out.  Again, this one is soft and snuggly but it is still light weight so when the sun pokes its head out of the clouds, you don’t feel too hot in it.  For accessories, I’ve paired it with my light pink bag from LYDC  which I love because it holds its shape regardless of how much you have in it so it always looks chic and on my feet I have my trusted pink flip flops from Jack Wills– I have so many of these, I buy them every year as they’re the most comfortable flip flops I own.

What are you doing this Sunday?  Nursing a hangover or are you off out for the day?

Such a sweet, cozy outfit. The pastels keep it girly, and it looks so comfy and nice. I like that you dress to mirror the mood of the day. I do that, too. Sounds like such a lovely Sunday tradition!<3 Lizwww.withwonderandwhimsy.com
